How to dress when walking?

How to dress when walking?

If you decide to do walking exercise instead of walking as part of your daily routine, it is important to find the right walking shoes and clothes suitable for walking. This is because it protects our bodies while walking and increases exercise efficiency!

What should you prioritize when deciding on your attire? The most important things are lightness, comfort for easy movement, and safety to protect our bodies. First of all, it is a good idea to choose a material that absorbs moisture well and allows the skin to breathe. Additionally, you will need to dress appropriately for the intensity of exercise, season, and weather.

Made of material that dries easily even when sweating
Long pants if possible, thick socks

Tops and outerwear should be chosen as comfortable clothing that allows your arms to move naturally. Choose soft, breathable clothing that touches your skin. In the summer when you sweat a lot, cotton tops that don't dry easily are damp and uncomfortable, and in the winter, sweaty clothes are frozen and not good. Synthetic fiber materials such as nylon and polyester, which absorb moisture quickly and become soft, may be a good choice.

In cold winters, wearing several layers of thin, breathable clothing is much more efficient in terms of movement and warmth than wearing just one thick outer layer. It is also a good idea to wear a fleece zip-up or a vest made of Gore-Tex material that is waterproof and windproof. Wearing multiple layers of clothing is convenient because you can take off or put on clothes as the temperature changes. If you are worried about UV rays, it is worth considering wearing a long-sleeved shirt or hiking clothes with UV protection even in summer.
In winter, it is better to wear thick clothes
I like several pairs of thin, comfortable clothes.
Long pants and thick socks if possible
When it comes to pants, it is best to choose tights made of nylon or polyester to prevent your thighs from constantly chafing and causing inflammation due to friction. There is a risk of being bitten by snakes or pests while walking on mountain paths, so it is best to wear long pants if possible to help keep you safe.

Socks should be thick enough to absorb moisture and protect your feet. The moisture does not dry well, so if you walk wet for a long time, blisters may form. To prevent cramps, it is also helpful to wear long socks that support both your calves and ankles. It is a good idea to wear walking shoes that fit the shape of your feet well, have adequate cushioning, and are flexible and have wide toes.

It's a good idea to bring sunglasses and a hat too.
In winter, wear earplugs and gloves to block the cold.

If you want to protect your skin from UV rays and cold, dry weather, be sure to bring a hat. Wearing a hat with a brim is much more effective in blocking the sun. In winter, wearing a warm fur hat with ear flaps will help maintain body temperature. Another solution is to wear earmuffs along with a thick hat. If you bring a ski mask or a wide hairband to keep your neck and back warm, as well as gloves, you will be able to walk every day even in the cold winter without any problem, right?
Hat for UV protection and cold protection,
Bring your ‘eye’ Jikimi sunglasses, complete with fashion!
Sunglasses are necessary to protect your eyes. You can protect your eyes not only from ultraviolet rays, but also from dust, sand, and insects. If you wear running sunglasses rather than regular sunglasses, they won't slip off and you can use them much more comfortably. Wear a hat and sunglasses to complete your fashion! It is also important to thoroughly apply sunscreen and lip balm to your precious skin and lips!

Bringing a water bottle to replenish moisture from time to time and a walking stick to prevent falling on slippery surfaces will also help you walk efficiently and safely. If you want to record your steps and exercise distance to know your calorie consumption and feel the joy of achieving your goals, be sure to bring a pedometer!
